Jukenpo (柔 拳 法)
Jukenpo combines the old Takeda Ryu Jujitsu (locks and projections) with traditional chinese Kempo (fist fighting) and kicks.
In the past, it was used as horse back fighting (we can still found this history in basic posture of the dicipline) and later, it evolved as a martial art on the ground.
Speed, right distance (kamae), body control are the characteristics of this martial art.
Shiai (contest) exist in jukenpo where strikes can be combined with throws and locks.
